A great kick-off into 2023!

Traditionally the season for BENETEAU First 18 SEs & Seascape18s starts in the Adriatic Sea. In Marina Portorož, the Spring Porta Cup organisers managed to gather a competitive fleet of 18 teams from Austria, Germany, Scotland, Serbia and Slovenia.
Although weather forecasts didn’t look very promising, we were rewarded with two fantastic spring sailing days – mostly sunny with a bit of cloud and one thunderstorm – to make fights on the racing field even more interesting. Portorož bay again proved with very good wind conditions, and there was enough sea breeze to finish seven races.

Finally, a brand new 18SE, SLO 611 with Luka Baebler and Urban Jerman, took first place; second was SLO 600 with Tit Plevnik and Gal Potrč Pajk and in third place, SLO 349, father and son Jan and Aleks Kobler.
